A futuristic sports game built around a violent contest in which teams try to drive a steel ball into the opposing goal, with few rules and almost anything allowed. In Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe, players compete in matches and work their way through the leagues, either alone or against another player locally or online.

The game features 32 teams, four leagues, cup tournaments and knockout competitions. Teams can be enhanced, managed and trained, while matches can be played individually or as part of a career.
