The events take place in 2011. Five years have passed since the second disaster that overshadowed the events of April 1986. The area is experiencing frequent emissions that shift anomalous fields and open roads to previously inaccessible locations. Clans are fighting for key positions and new territories. Stalkers perish, but new ones arrive immediately. Scientific expeditions from the 'West' come to the zone, eager to unravel the strange mystery of this area.

Действия происходят в 2011 году. С момента второй катастрофы, которая затмила события апреля 1986 года, прошло пять лет.
