On the ice planet Hoth, this tower-defense strategy game follows the Imperial assault on the Rebel base Echo, whose main power generator is the target. Under Darth Vader's command, walkers and snowtroopers advance on the base, while its defenders must hold their positions long enough for the evacuation to proceed.
The player deploys and directs Rebel forces, including infantry, Snowspeeders, gun towers and other units. The campaign features 15 levels and two modes, Classic and Fortress, with difficulty settings to adjust the challenge. Imperial forces include AT-AT and AT-ST walkers; the defenders can deploy weapons such as ion cannons and X-wing fighters.
