This arcade flight game follows the Rebels’ attack on the Death Star, which threatens their base on Yavin 4. As a pilot in Red Squadron, the player battles TIE fighters before flying through the station’s trench, dodging obstacles and enemy fire to launch torpedoes at the thermal exhaust port.
Accelerometer controls are paired with flight physics and a Force ability that slows time and improves agility. Mission mode uses music, dialogue, and footage from the film, while arcade modes offer separate trench-run and dogfighting challenges. The game includes cockpit and chase-camera views, along with several difficulty levels.
