This futuristic platform game combines action and puzzle elements as BLOB ventures into the unstable core of a rogue planet that has emerged from a black hole. The mission is to repair the core before it collapses and triggers a chain reaction capable of destroying the universe. Dangerous creatures roam the planet, while remnants of an earlier civilisation hold items needed for the repair.
BLOB travels on foot, rides hover platforms and lifts, builds temporary platforms, and uses teleports and secret passages. The character can carry up to four items: some help repair the core, while others can be exchanged for useful objects. The player also searches for keys and chips to pass through doors, collects supplies that replenish energy and combat capabilities, and fends off hazardous creatures.
