Static Dread: The Submarine

The game continues the story of Static Dread: The Lighthouse, but shifts the action aboard the submarine "Ares". This time, the main character is the navigator — one of the few surviving crew members, who will have to look at what is happening from a new perspective and uncover the secrets hidden in the ocean depths.

The sequel significantly expands gameplay by adding crew management, using sonar to explore the ocean, plotting routes, and a system of daily reports to the captain, through which progress is saved. The confined corridors of the submarine enhance the feeling of claustrophobia, and communication with other survivors affects the course of events. As the crew descends, they face insomnia, a mysterious mold that turns people into monsters, and ahead await encounters with sea monsters, stealth episodes, and new mysteries that continue the story of the first part.
