This role-playing adventure follows Steven and the Crystal Gems as they try to stop a mysterious Homeworld warrior who has stolen a powerful weapon. Combat blends turn-based actions with real-time battles, while the story unfolds in the world of Steven Universe.

The party can include Steven, Garnet, Pearl, Amethyst, Connie, Greg, and Peridot. Their abilities help solve puzzles and fight an army of light, and characters can combine into fusions such as Stevonnie, Smoky Quartz, Opal, Sardonyx, and Sugilite.
