Stray Dog: nobody cares

An unusual soulslike game where players control an ordinary hunting dog with a sword in its mouth. The main character is a nameless dog, raised from a puppy by a retired knight. Once, he fought for decades on the side of the legion, but after uncovering its dark secrets, he was slandered and exiled. The knight settled in solitude, and his only companion remained his loyal dog.

The master never taught his pet to fight — on the contrary, he told him how to avoid wars and survive. But after the knight's capture, the dog sets out to find him, armed with an old blade.

The gameplay is built around familiar mechanics for the genre: players will explore intricate soulslike locations, fight enemies, search for treasures, gain experience and gold, unlock new skills, and learn special combat techniques. The hero's arsenal also includes parrying, back attacks, and finishing moves.
