An arcade runner with RPG elements, StrikeForce Kitty follows a team of kittens exploring levels and trying to rescue a princess from a cunning king. Foxes and bosses stand in their way, while each level focuses on finding an optimal route and uncovering secret areas.

Defeating foxes earns costumes that make the kittens stronger and grant new abilities. These abilities open alternative routes and help uncover rare items. The cats can also be trained in the gym, and different combinations of costumes and skills provide new ways to approach each level.
