A third-person sports game centered on beach volleyball. Matches feature 14 selectable characters with individual attributes and abilities, across 12 venues that include beaches, piers and stadiums.

The game offers Arcade, Exhibition, Tournament and Mini-Games modes. Its Super Spike system grants special moves and speed boosts, while also unlocking hidden features; Beach House Party mode tracks player statistics and unlocks characters and secrets. Character appearances can be customized with different skin colors, hairstyles and accessories.
