Super Crossfire is a top-down arcade shooter in which the player pilots a ship against waves of enemies. Its central mechanic lets the ship switch between the top and bottom of the screen at any time, providing a way to dodge incoming fire and reposition during combat.
The game spans five chapters and more than 150 enemy waves. Opponents include 19 types of craft, each with different behaviors, attacks, and attributes. The ship and its weapons can be upgraded through a system covering ten areas, allowing players to emphasize defense or offense. Controls include tilt, slider, and button options.
