Super XYX is an arcade scrolling shooter set in 3999, where humanity faces the ancient Black Serpent, a threat awakened after a long slumber. Six heroes take on the Serpent and its forces, each with personal reasons for fighting rather than a shared mission to save the world.
Each character has distinct shot types and bombs, and four of the six can be unlocked. The campaign spans six stages featuring large bosses and numerous lesser enemies, with additional game modes also available. The game draws on arcade scrolling shooters of the early 1990s.
