A side-scrolling shooter inspired by 1970s giant-robot anime, Supercharged Robot VULKAISER follows Earth's defense against an invasion by the Gogoh Army. In 1977, ace pilot Takuya Akatsuki takes control of the combat robot VULKAISER and joins the VulFighter team in battle against the forces arriving from space.

Players fight through six stages, using the robot's weapons against enemy forces. VULKAISER can combine with four VulFighter craft to access the Rocket Kaiser, Needle Kaiser, Thunder Kaiser, and Drill Kaiser configurations. The game includes four difficulty levels and online leaderboards.
