Sword Sage: Awakening

Role-playing action inspired by Chinese mythology and folklore. The main character is Pei Sannian, a young disciple of the Yuangong sect, returning to her homeland after her travels and discovering Guannandao on the brink of destruction.

The millennial catastrophe begins with the mistake of the Guardian of the White Cloud Cave — the Sage of the Gibbon, who was tasked with protecting the Heavenly books. In a drunken stupor, he left his notes on the sacred texts and carved them into the rock, unleashing a disaster that spawned hordes of yaoguai.

While the sinister creatures ravage the homeland, Pei Sannian finds herself drawn into a confrontation with ancient forces. For generations, the people of Guannandao have created ingenious mechanisms and fought against yaoguai, trying to contain the consequences of the catastrophe. Now the fate of the land once again depends on those who must face its true legacy.
