This science-fiction horror shooter with role-playing elements unfolds aboard the derelict starship Von Braun. The protagonist awakens from cryogenic sleep with cybernetic implants and finds the crew dead and infected creatures roaming the corridors. SHODAN, a rogue artificial intelligence, taunts the protagonist’s attempts to uncover the ship’s horrifying mystery.

Players choose one of three military specializations and develop skills in hacking, weapon use, and psionic abilities. Audio logs, ghostly apparitions, and research provide an advantage in combat and unlock exotic weapons and items. The campaign also supports cooperative play for up to four players.
