This mod adds the AMX-40 to Teardown — a French main battle tank developed by GIAT during the late Cold War as an export-oriented replacement for the AMX-32. It was designed as a relatively low-cost tank for armies with smaller defense budgets, featuring light armor, good mobility, and a powerful 120 mm gun, while retaining characteristics of earlier French MBTs. The project failed to attract buyers and was officially canceled in 1990.

Note:

  • To spawn the vehicle, press B, then navigate to France → Cold War-Present → MBT, where the AMX-40 will appear;
  • Make sure the TABS framework is properly installed before use;
  • Experimental track controls must be enabled, as they are required for proper vehicle operation.
