The Incident is a retro-style action game about escaping a downpour of assorted objects: as they fall, they build a mountain of platforms leading up to the source of the incident. The player runs, dodges and jumps through seven levels, trying to survive among hundreds of objects that can each cause a fatal mishap.
The game features power-ups, power-downs and collectables. After completing it, players can work toward achievements, including one for collecting coins, and revisit their adventures in the Trophy Room. A B-mode is also included.
