It's a world we've almost seen, as exclusive research reveals that Ion Storm was working on exactly that in 2004 — a never-announced Thief reboot led by Dishonored's Harvey Smith and heavily inspired by Splinter Cell. It was called Thief 4: Dagger of Ways.
