Thief: Deadly Shadows

Thief: Deadly Shadows is probably one of the best parts in the series.

There is no Russian localization in the game, but there are amateur translations for the game. The plot is simply simple, without any unnecessary complications. The game implements something like factions that you need to please, there are small quests that change your reputation and relationships with factions.

The game has a complex but fascinating plot, and the musical accompaniment is simply superb.

if you haven’t played this game then my advice to you is just try it and you won’t regret it. The game has at least 2 scary levels: the ship "9 shaft" and the mental hospital "Moira"

A tribute to the Thief fans from Eidos.

An excellent sequel that fits into the history of previous games, reinforcing its canon with notes on past events in the Thief series. You feel like this is the original Thief, as mechanics from previous games are present. Sure, they've added new ones (lockpicking, wall climbing, new gadgets) and removed the same arrows and rope, but the weapon balance remains.

Among the downsides, I'd highlight the protagonist's movement. He now looks from a corner, extending his leg to the side instead of leaning his torso. I didn't like this decision, since if you're standing on the edge of a building and try to lean to the side, there's a good chance you'll just fall.
