The game offers a journey from an unnoticed car wash worker to a boss who is respected in the criminal world. The plot tells the story of Bob Davidson, who returned from Europe to his hometown of Freedom City — a city where the aesthetics of the 50s intertwine with modern features, and poverty and hopelessness become a familiar backdrop. Faced with the reality that the legal path to a decent life is almost impossible, Bob gradually finds himself drawn into criminal schemes, where each step opens up new opportunities and new risks.

The open world lives its own life, and dynamic shootouts, chases, and missions allow the player to experience the story at their own pace.
