Tobe & Friends Hookshot Escape is a retro endless platformer about Tobe and his friends trying to escape a crumbling cave. Each run involves avoiding danger and using character-specific abilities: a hookshot, hammer, dragon punch, or feather cape. Every character also has a distinct combo mechanic that changes the way they play.

The escape offers treasures and unlockable equipment that can improve stats, abilities, and scores. Equipment can be mixed and matched. The game features four pixel-art themes, each with its own music, as well as leaderboards for each character and an overall high score.
