After a calamity leaves Tokyo cut off from the outside world, its wards fall under the control of clans united as the Syndicate. In Tokyo Tattoo Girls, the player chooses a companion and develops her abilities with tattoos that grant her power. To attempt an escape from the city, she must battle the clans and conquer all 23 wards. The tattoo designs draw inspiration from traditional Japanese tattoo art.
