This full-motion-video adventure follows a music video producer who travels to the Distortion Dimension, a world filled with loud guitar music, in search of footage for new clips. The producer hopes to earn money and fame by selling the videos. At the start, the player can choose to pursue a set amount of money, a target number of fame points, or both.

The player explores the dimension, films material and assembles music videos to sell to television producers. The journey also involves guitar battles against Guitar Warriors and managing the protagonist’s physical and mental energy with food and sleep. If either runs out, the protagonist will eventually die.
