TowerFall is an arcade platform action game built around archery duels in an arena. Up to four players can fight, trying to hit their opponents with arrows or by jumping on their heads and be the last one standing. The game also has a cooperative mode and a single-player challenge to hit targets before time runs out.

Arrows are limited, but players can replenish their supply with arrows found in the arena and catch incoming shots. Treasure grants extra abilities, including a shield, wings, and more powerful arrows. Match rules can be customized and saved.
