This single-player first-person shooter follows a young American soldier during the Vietnam War. As a member of a Tunnel Rats squad, he is tasked with clearing the extensive passageways beneath the Vietnamese jungle. After his squadmates are killed in an ambush, he is left alone to face the Viet Cong, deadly traps and his growing inner madness.
The campaign spans eight levels set in cramped, pitch-black tunnels and war-torn jungle above ground. The player has ten weapons, including flamethrowers, and must contend with twenty types of traps, from pits and snakes to water hazards. The underground passages include complex tunnel systems and hidden places.
