You may have noticed that all troll caves look the same. This makes it easy to build in and around them. At the bottom, there is a concealed portal with a chest on the other side for storing ore in case you forget and can't teleport.

You can use a beam that almost disappears into the cave opening and hang a campfire inside one of the rock sides. This provides light as if from a hidden source, as well as comfort while you're there.

You can dig a tunnel to the right and behind the portal to free up a small room for a bed if you wish; the campfire acts as a fire so you can rest. Just be careful not to dig too far, or the ground above will show through when you reach the edge of the troll cave.
