Veillombre

A pixel-art multiplayer horror game for 1–16 players, set in a mansion plunged into darkness. The only source of light is the candle on each player’s head: without a flame, it’s impossible to move around safely, search rooms, or escape danger. Monsters hunt in the dark, and traitors may be hiding among the survivors, able to extinguish other players’ candles.

Exploring the mansion revolves around finding supplies and the only key to the exit door. Rooms contain matches, candles, boards, and various items to trade with the merchant. You can search rooms, barricade them, and use them as hiding places. If a teammate falls in complete darkness, it becomes a serious problem: they can only be brought back to life by carrying a flame to where they died. Once the door is unlocked, the final countdown begins, and you must escape the mansion before time runs out.
