The game takes place in the near future, when humanity is on the brink of extinction. Advances in genome-editing technology have ushered in a new era, yet hopes for a bright future are gradually fading. Adhvan Academy, founded to confront the looming catastrophe, becomes the epicenter of tragedy: people are attacked by monstrous creatures known as GEM, and the city is cut off from the outside world by a mysterious barrier.
