Voidspire Tactics is a turn-based tactical RPG set in an unconventional fantasy world, where a party explores a nonlinear landscape and makes its way toward the Spire. The player assembles a group of Warriors, Sorcerers, and Shiftcloaks, customizing its composition and character progression. Four playable races and up to 18 unlockable classes offer different ways to develop the party.

Combat revolves around tactical use of abilities, destructible terrain, and elemental interactions. Abilities also serve purposes outside battle: freezing a river can provide a route across it, while growing vines can help the party climb mountains. Characters can learn and upgrade more than 100 abilities, as well as choose from over 50 passive abilities.
