Wii Sports is a collection of arcade-style sports activities, including tennis, baseball, golf, bowling and boxing. In tennis, players hold the controller like a racket and swing to hit the ball, while the game automatically positions the characters on the court. Matches support one to four players.
In baseball, the controller is used as a bat. The single-player mode focuses on hitting home runs, while in two-player games one participant pitches and the other bats. Golf has one player swing to send the ball toward the green and line up putts to reach the hole.
