An isometric role-playing game set in a fairy-tale fantasy world and based on the legend of King Arthur. A knight finds himself caught up in strange events, while the local gods intend to use him as a living weapon. To uncover the truth, he must face the gods and become part of English folklore.
The world is explored in real time, while combat shifts to turn-based encounters in which the player plans actions for the knight and his companions, spending action points. Companions have their own abilities, and some of the characters encountered can become friends or a romantic partner. Equipment and other useful items can be looted, bought, or crafted.
