A dark role-playing action game set in a dark fantasy world, taking place years after the events of Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem. The world is on the brink of destruction, and the Commander, an accidental offspring of the God of Shadows, along with his companions, finds himself caught up in the fulfillment of an ancient Prophecy that promises salvation at the cost of sacrifice. Among the heroes, familiar characters from the original game will also be encountered.
There are no fixed classes in the game — development revolves around weapons that unlock new abilities, as well as modifiers, specializations, and a vast tree of passive skills. This system allows for the creation of a wide variety of builds: from a melee mage and a spellcaster with a sword to a defensive sorcerer or an archer.
