World Boxing Manager

This strategy and sports management game focuses on building the careers of boxers and running a boxing gym. The player scouts and recruits amateur fighters, chooses whom to develop, and guides them from regional events toward world-title bouts. Matchmaking involves weighing the greater earnings from wins against the extra experience gained through losses as fighters climb the rankings.

Training can target individual attributes or a chosen fighting style. Before a bout, a training camp provides faster but temporary gains that apply only to the next match, balancing short-term preparation with lasting development. Sparring lets fighters test their performance and learn permanent traits. The manager also has to allow time for boxers to make weight and decide how to allocate trainers among their fighters.
