What a way to screw up a potentially stylish project so spectacularly and turn it into another soulless gacha for drooling idols. At release, Z tried to feign authentic urban fantasy with a cozy 90s atmosphere, hacker romance, and cool TV puzzles, but the efficient managers quickly caved to the whining of casuals and delivered the ultimate Chinese slop. The plot was relegated to a dull superhero story, where the protagonists turned from secretive illegal proxies into all-powerful chosen ones, and the stylish cyberpunk was replaced with cheap fantasy with talismans and cultists. The designers were apparently fired, replaced by lingerie advertising specialists, because the new female characters are now distinguished only by the size of their latex bodysuits and anomalous breast physics, while the men emerge once a year as castrated banner plugs. And all this fanservice garbage is wrapped in a stuffy endgame with brazen cockblocks on bosses, where without the new imba, you'll be picking at the fat lips of damage for hours.
