This platform action game follows Zool, a ninja forced to land on Earth who must cross seven lands and defeat a boss at the end of each to earn his ninja rank. Gameplay centers on fast movement through levels and fighting enemies; Zool collects power-ups along the way, replacing spells that appeared in an early version of the project.
The game also includes minigames, among them arcade games and a scrolling space shooter. Some extra games can be accessed by playing a particular tune on an in-game piano or finding hidden warp points.
