A trailer has been released for a hobbit life simulator with construction and crafting — Tales of the Shire
Developers from Weta Workshop showed the first gameplay trailer for Tales of the Shire, a simulator of the life of a hobbit in the Lord of the Rings universe. Judging by the footage, some kind of Animal Crossing awaits us.
The video demonstrated some of the game's features — fishing, trading, home improvement, cooking, exploring the Shire and growing a garden. The wizard Gandalf also appears in one of the frames.
The developers clarify that the graphics in the trailer have not yet been finalized. Before this, a small excerpt of a video with a first look at the game had already leaked onto the network.
It is noteworthy that the Weta Workshop studio involved in the project was previously responsible for props and special effects for the Peter Jackson trilogy.
The release of Tales of the Shire is expected this year.
Previously, a trailer was released for the new addition to the Scandinavian survival simulator Valheim.
