Searching Sakai is the tenth main mission in the game Assassin's Creed Shadows, offering players an exciting adventure. In this guide, you'll find a detailed description of the quest walkthrough, including all the necessary steps and strategies for successful completion.

Mission Description: Using a secret identity opens the way for Naoe to make the right connections while hunting the woman who shot at her.

How to Find Weapon Information

Open the task board, go to the "Shinbakufu" section and select the quest "Searching Sakai" from the "Gilded Teppo" list.

Move to the firearms sales area in Sakai and talk to the gunsmiths. On the main street, you can find three such craftsmen, easily spotted using observation: (marked with bluish circles). However, they do not have the item you need. If you re-examine the area, another gunsmith will appear. He is having a conversation in an alley (marked on the map with a filled circle).

Crouch and approach the cloth-covered box nearby to automatically hide. Maintain attention to eavesdrop on the conversation. After listening to the conversation, talk to these craftsmen. During the dialogue, different reply options will appear, but they all lead to one goal — eliminating the gunsmith. The quickest way to obtain fake contract documents is described below. A diplomatic option is not provided.

Option 1:

My name is not important.

After this, several more options will appear:

We can do this the hard way — tough option (marked with a storm cloud icon). After choosing, the gunsmiths will attempt to escape, but you will have to catch and eliminate them. This advances the quest.
I heard everything.
Don't waste my time — you will have to chase the gunsmith to extract information.
I'll pay (500) — the gunsmith becomes greedy and puts a bounty on your head (200 coins to whoever kills you). You will have to fight and take the papers from his body.
I don't have the necessary amount — the gunsmith refuses, suggesting to return later.

Option 2:

I am connected with Imai.

Further replies are available:

I know Imai Sokyu's son.
I know Imai Sokyu's daughter.
It's none of your business.

In each case, the same response options are available as before:

Don't waste my time — you will have to chase the gunsmith.
I'll pay (500) — will trigger an attack.
I don't have the necessary amount — the gunsmith refuses to talk.

Head southwest to the indicated point. The building you need to enter does not have a front door, so go through the back entrance. Enter inside and talk to Imai Sokun, who is sitting on the floor by the entrance.

Two lines of dialogue will appear (no difference in outcome):

I still have much to learn.
In business, you must act decisively.

Then choose one of the fake aliases:

My name is Shizuka.
My name is Sanuki.
My name is Shigure.

Imai will walk down the street, and you can automatically follow him. Along the way, he will stop to collect a debt, after which you can enable auto-follow again. Eventually, he will lead you to his office in the firearms district of Sakai.

Sit at the table opposite him. Another pair of replies will appear (they don't matter):

I am a worthwhile investment.
Your father's position may be at risk.

After this, the mission will be completed.
