007 First Light A New Home Challenges Guide

Vladyslav Shamshurov

The A New Home episode in 007 First Light has 12 challenges, including the final Completionist challenge. Completing all objectives unlocks the Malta Training Outfit. In this guide, we will explain how to complete all A New Home challenges, which tasks are convenient to clear together, and where it is best to reload from a checkpoint.

All A New Home Challenges in 007 First Light

Keep in mind that you usually cannot complete every challenge in a single run: some objectives directly contradict each other. Because of this, we recommend completing challenges in groups, then reloading from a checkpoint and replaying the section.

  • Pacifist: Complete the Something to Prove and White Flag challenges. In both cases, you need to reach the flag without taking down a single enemy.
  • Ghost: Complete the Cressida's Way and Always Do the Unexpected challenges. In these challenges, you need to get through the sections without being spotted.

  • Mr Mnemonic: Choose the correct answer in Monroe's memory game in the apartment.
  • Something to Prove: Complete In at the Deep End without taking down any soldiers.
  • Cressida's Way: Complete In at the Deep End without being spotted by enemies.

  • White Flag: Reach the flag in the compound without taking down any soldiers.
  • Always Do the Unexpected: Reach the flag in the compound without being spotted.

How to Complete Mr Mnemonic

This secret challenge is completed in the apartment during Monroe's memory training. He will offer you a short memory test. Inspect the card on the table, flip it over, and memorize the symbols. You need the two icons in the lower corners.

The correct answer is: Umbrella and crown.

How to Complete Something to Prove and Cressida's Way

These two challenges are best completed together from the In at the Deep End checkpoint. You need to reach the flag without taking down any enemies and without being spotted.

After the section begins, drop down into the grass and enter the building on the left.

Hide behind the wooden partitions and watch the two enemies: one will go up the stairs, while the other will stay near the steps. Move to the cover on the left and hack the device with the Q-Watch to distract the soldier. While he is looking the other way, go upstairs. Go around the patrolman on the left and hide in the tall grass. Wait until he leaves, then move on.

Sneak through the grass to the next staircase, jump onto it, and take cover behind the crate. Next, you will encounter an armored enemy. There is a speaker to his right. Hack it with the Q-Watch, distract the enemy, and climb higher.

On the upper level, only the final guard remains. Go around him and climb the ladder to the flag. If you did not knock anyone out and did not raise the alarm, both challenges will count.

How to Complete Monroe's Way

For the Monroe's Way challenge, you need to completely clear the In at the Deep End training level before taking the flag. There are 25 soldiers in the area, and all of them must be neutralized.

You can act aggressively, but it is better not to raise unnecessary alarms: enemies may call reinforcements, which will increase the number of targets. Use Q-Lens to highlight enemies through walls and check every level of the area. Enemies may be located not only on the main route to the flag, but also above or below it.

How to Complete Spinning a Yarn

This secret challenge is completed during the polygraph test. It begins after Bond captures the flag at the training ground. Every time Greenway asks a question, choose the false answer.

How to Complete White Flag and Always Do the Unexpected

These challenges are convenient to clear together from the Search the Compound checkpoint. You need to reach the flag at night without taking down any enemies and without being spotted by guards.

  1. After the conversation with the guard, the game will introduce the Bluff mechanic for the first time. Once you regain control, drop down from the ledge on the left.
  2. Then move along the wall and go down the steps into the tall grass.
  3. Climb the stairs ahead and to the right. Slightly left of the double green door, find a break in the wall. Go through it, turn left, and exit onto the balcony.
  4. Climb up the blue pipe. At the top, move along the awning toward the open window on the left and climb inside. Almost immediately, turn left and jump out through the next window deeper inside the room. Do not go down the stairs on the left: this path leads away from the objective and increases the risk of running into guards.
  5. After exiting outside, there will be stairs on the right leading up. Climb them, move right along the crates, and reach the blue door.

Open it and take the flag. If you did not touch any soldiers and did not raise the alarm, both challenges will count.

How to Complete Party Crasher

Here, you need to neutralize every enemy from the Search the Compound checkpoint before taking the flag. There are around 30 enemies in the compound. Use Q-Lens often: it helps you spot soldiers behind walls and check areas you have already cleared. Search not only the main routes, but also side rooms. Make sure to find the compound key and check the basement too, as there are also enemies there.
