Festive Event with Gifts for Gamers Kicks Off in Dying Light 2 — Patch 1.20 Released

Techland has announced the release of update 1.20 for Dying Light 2 Stay Human, which brings a host of fixes and improvements to the game. Additionally, the update launches the Christmas event Winter Tales: Gifts from Above 2024, which will run until January 2nd.

Villedor has once again been hit by the frosty weather, and its citizens are ready to celebrate the festive season. They’ve got a tree, but it’s missing the decorations. But where are they, you may ask? Complete the bounties on offer from Baka or loot containers to get your hands on a mixture of trinkets, ornaments and other decorations, then dress the tree to make sure the holiday cheer spreads for all to hear! For your hard work, you’ll be rewarded with presents, such as the Killer Krampus Outfit, and Winter Sweets, which can be spent at Baka’s stall.

As players increase Baka's reputation level, they will receive letters that can be sent to Santa to receive gifts. By completing all weekly tasks, players can earn the entire Krampus Slayer outfit for free.

According to the developers, patch 1.20 simplifies the prologue, adjusts balance, and fixes some gameplay bugs, technical errors, and crashes.

Remember, Techland will soon showcase Dying Light: The Beast during The Game Awards 2024 ceremony.
