Take-Two Interactive has released its latest financial report. The main highlight during the presentation was GTA 6. Despite fan concerns, the game has not been delayed and is still set for release in fall 2025.
Publishing head Strauss Zelnick stated that Take-Two is confident about the release date of GTA 6 , but acknowledged that no one is ever fully immune to delays. "Look, there's always a risk of slippage and I think as soon as you say words like absolutely, you jinx things," Zelnick told IGN.
Other key details from the report:
- Total sales of all GTA titles have surpassed 440 million copies, with 210 million copies sold for GTA 5;
- The Red Dead Redemption series has sold 95 million copies, including 70 million for Red Dead Redemption 2;
- Sales figures for other franchises: Borderlands — 91 million copies, Civilization — 73 million copies, BioShock — 43 million copies.
GTA 6 will release between Mafia: The Old Country (summer) and Borderlands 4 (winter). The game will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
