Nexus Point News reports that A24 has greenlit a film adaptation of the 2022 action RPG Elden Ring. However, there's been no official confirmation from A24 itself.
According to the report, Alex Garland (director of Civil War, Ex Machina, Annihilation, and Men) is attached to direct. Filming is purportedly scheduled to begin in 2026. Other details surrounding the adaptation, including a release date, casting information, and plot specifics, remain under wraps. It's worth noting that A24 is also developing a film based on Death Stranding.
As a reminder, Netflix recently dropped a teaser trailer for the final season of its hit series Squid Game, which is slated to premiere in summer 2025.
