Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Will Include Mature Content
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Will Not Be Censored, Remains True to the Original. The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore has assigned the game an M18 rating.
The IMDA's game description mentions violent scenes depicting blood, stabbings, throat slitting, and arson. Corpses and bloodstains can be seen in some locations. In addition, the game will feature sexual content — voluptuous female characters in revealing outfits, posters and magazines, and dialogue with sexual innuendo. According to the Singaporean organization, the remake will retain the blend of humor and seriousness characteristic of the original game.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be Japanese publisher Konami's first AAA game in recent years and the first major project in the Metal Gear franchise since the release of Metal Gear Survive in 2018. The remake is being developed by Konami Digital Entertainment and Virtuos on Unreal Engine 5, under the leadership of industry veterans Noriaki Okamura and Yuji Korekado. It will be released on August 28, 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
It was recently revealed that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will not have the Fox Hunt online mode at launch, where players have to hide from other gamers and silently eliminate them.
As a reminder, new details about the horror game Silent Hill f recently emerged.
