The open beta for the post-apocalyptic shooter Pioner has officially kicked off on PC, running until November 11. Developers have confirmed that all progress made during the beta will not carry over to the full game.
According to developers GFA Games, the beta boasts over 30 hours of content. Players diving into the test can experience the first five acts of the main story campaign, tackle three major world boss missions, and participate in several unique activities. These include the Crash Site tutorial raid, the Manufactory PvE raid, the Carnage tournament (a card-based minigame), and various PvP battles.
Dear players, We are thrilled to announce the start of the PIONER Open Beta! You can now explore the dangerous and mysterious Tartarus Island and experience the game ahead of its full release, planned for late 2025. This marks the next major step in our ongoing development — following a series of successful Closed Beta tests. Join the testing, which will run until November 11.
Pioner is currently in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, with a full release planned for late 2025.
In related news, the full edition of the post-apocalyptic shooter Atomfall recently launched on PC and consoles.
