Gaming News August 29, 2026, 12:46 PMA trailer has now confirmed re:Blue's release, and the Blue Dragon project is available as a native recompilation for Windows, Linux, and macOS after being published on August 28. The original JRPG launched on Xbox 360 in 2006.
The release is also compatible with Steam Deck and supports higher frame rates, custom resolutions, and mod support. Its feature list goes further than that, adding 4K resolution, unlocked FPS, native keyboard and mouse support, and a built-in mod manager. -

Gaming News August 16, 2026, 11:00 AMProject maintainer sal063 released a build of Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation that recompiles the Xbox 360 game for x86-64 PCs, using the ReXGlue SDK instead of emulation. The game had remained locked to Microsoft's console since 2007.
The port is still not fully native in every part of the pipeline. Its visible rendering continues to rely on the vendored ReXGlue/Xenia graphics backend, but the project already goes beyond a simple proof of concept: it supports up to 60 FPS, draws terrain at the full resolution shipped on the disc, and removes cracks and seams that can appear across mountains. -
