A realistic ReShade preset that enhances lighting, contrast, color reproduction, sharpness, and shadows without any loss of performance in 007 First Light.
Installation instructions:
- Download the preset file as well as the latest version of ReShade.
- Run the ReShade installer (setup.exe), select the 007FirstLight.exe executable in the menu, and click “Next.”
- Choose DirectX10/11/12 in the graphics API selection window and click “Next.”
- In the list of effects, select the following packages (make sure there are checkmarks, not filled black squares, before the names—double-click them if needed):

AstrayFX by BlueSkyDefender - Click “Next,” then “Finish.”
- Go to the root directory of the game where 007FirstLight.exe is located.
- Extract the downloaded preset archive and move all files into this root folder. Confirm file replacement if necessary.
- Launch the game. The first startup may take a few seconds longer than usual.
Verification and hotkeys:
To make sure the modification is working correctly, open the ReShade menu by pressing the Home key on your keyboard and go to the “Start” tab at the top of the interface if it doesn’t open automatically.
In-game controls:
- Home — open or close the ReShade menu.
- Delete (Del) — enable or disable the preset effects.
- Page Up (PgUp) — quickly switch between the regular version and the version with reduced bloom effect (works only if the “Less Bloom Version” mod is installed).
