This strategy game with board-game elements follows generations of one family trying to survive as Western civilization rises. Its abstract depiction of the lives of ancient ancestors combines movement around a wheel of life with spending tokens and taking risks to earn more. Survival is the main goal, while players choose additional objectives.

Tactics unfold across four social boundaries, with legend points awarded for progress. Players build a family through romance, raising children, and rites of passage; their choices shape its history, including sibling rivalry and failed family branches. Each new age brings its own challenges, while discoveries, inventions, social advancement, and heroic deeds earned over generations strengthen the family.
