This first-person virtual reality shooter takes place in a post-apocalyptic southwestern United States overrun by zombies. After hearing a human voice on the radio, the protagonist sets out to find other survivors, fighting through undead hordes while making do with scarce ammunition and supplies.
The campaign is made up of short episodes that form a complete narrative. Players explore canyons, mines, and other locations, scavenge for useful items, and handle weapons through controller movements, aiming and keeping track of ammunition as they fend off zombie attacks. Arizona Sunshine also includes a Horde mode designed for cooperative play.
