Atomic Heart is one of those games that grabs you within the first few hours. Its retrofuturistic Soviet world, robots, science fiction aesthetic, and blend of BioShock, Fallout, and classic shooters create a truly captivating atmosphere. It boasts a fantastic world and some very interesting ideas, but too many of its mechanics end up feeling like filler. It's a game with enormous potential that, at times, seems unsure of what it wants to be.
