Barbarian Saga: The Beastmaster

The events of the game unfold in the world of Arboréa, which has survived devastating portal wars. After a brief period of peace, the new king of the Empire, along with the Sacred Kingdom, begins a war against non-human races, gaining the support of one of the last mages of Arboréa — Trece XIII — and his generals. According to the prophecy, the chosen hero must unite humans and beasts and restore peace to the war-torn country.

The player takes on the role of the last Beastmaster. The main feature of the hero is the ability to absorb the souls of animals and various creatures, transforming into them and gaining new abilities. These powers are used not only in battles but also during exploration of the world: new forms allow access to previously unreachable areas of the map, finding hidden paths, and advancing through interconnected locations.

The combat system combines classic 2D action techniques with additional mechanics. The hero wields the Heart-Eater sword, for which new techniques can be found. Additionally, throughout the adventure, the player collects fangs, amulets, and plant roots for a ritual necklace — these items allow modification of attack characteristics, health, and mana reserves.
