This real-time strategy game stages an insect war on a kitchen floor strewn with food and junk. In Battle Bugs, the player commands a force drawn from 22 types of insects, including ants, cockroaches and flies, each with distinct mobility, strength and weapon characteristics.
Battles use a pause-to-plan system: the player issues orders, lets time run, then pauses again to adjust the force’s actions. The single-player mode features 56 battles that grow more complex, with objectives ranging from fighting for dominance to simply surviving. A two-player mode is also available.
